Soundcheck update: Madonna in the tent! She’s working her DJ soundcheck at the moment but no one can penetrate the security squad surrounding the Sahara tent.
But what a sweet setup. Saw Daft Punk put her equipment through the paces last night. Enough LED tech to light up Tokyo.
At long last, wifi is up, images on their way. Yes, I should be enjoying the music (and am) but have spent a long time getting the wifi radios running so that we can repeat a RoadRunner signal from a neighbor across the street from the polo fields.
Looks like we’re serving upwards to 15 folks in the area.
Night of the sound check. We ran out to (unsuccessfully) shoot a family
portrait at Hypha but ran around like a herd of cats.
