In the midst of a major SoCal downpour, Coco and I went visiting the MJT for her first time. I had given her my initial impressions as we drove up from OC but how do you explain the genius/madness of this joint? But she got it pretty quickly; the tongue-in-cheek “seriousness” of the scientific investigation and low-brow high-art seemed to catch her imagination. She didn’t get creeped out over some of the odder displays and got pretty excited over the string forms art exhibit. And sat through the hour-long “Great Soviet Eclipse” film.
